00:00I would like to thank you for being here today as a witness.
00:07In 2023, there will be 8,600 toilets in Malaysia's schools.
00:16Imagine our children, our schools, with such facilities.
00:24I mean, it's totally unacceptable as far as I'm concerned.
00:28So the least we can do is to try and resolve this problem.
00:32The government has undertaken this measures.
00:35It cost us a billion, talking about Lebanese, it's one billion we get
00:40because it's such a problem of the limited conditions.
00:44I was telling my sister, my son, just now that even schools around Kuala Lumpur,
00:52five minutes, ten minutes from your residence,
00:56and I think it is time that we, blessed by Allah SWT,
01:02with some wealth or facilities, should we undertake some measures
01:09to indeed reduce the pressures.
01:13The government has its limitations.
01:15My priority is for schools and education, hospitals.
01:20They were talking about billions.
01:22They were talking about flood mitigation, billions.
01:26And we have to resolve the fact that we rely on our people.
01:31So the issue of schools, if I may suggest,
01:36this year, we should choose schools.
01:41Not necessarily good schools,
01:45but schools that are more on the outskirts,
01:53in the villages, in the suburb of Sarawak.
01:58So, I hope that we, the KSP and the ICU,
02:04will work together and contribute.
02:07And if we get the money, 200 schools that are directly monitored
02:14will be paid.
02:15Imagine a person who manages the main bank
02:20going to a school in the middle,
02:24he will get a high salary.
02:27And what he has delivered to the children will leave a lasting impression.
02:32Imagine when we were still in school,
02:35a big manager came and recorded the achievements of the children.
02:39He spoke, we listened, we admired,
02:42and it increased our spirit to work and study.
02:49This year, I got an agreement from the bank.
02:54When I was in the government,
02:58we started a foundation called Hadyah Bahasa.
03:01Universities, colleges, middle and high schools,
03:05nationalities, Chinese and Thai schools,
03:08Hadyah Bahasa.
03:09For the Bahasa Commission,
03:11Hadyah Bahasa is a very important school.
