Police are tracking down a local man in connection with a car vandalism incident involving a metal rod on Jalan Lebuh Pantai in George Town on Friday (July 11), which was caught on video and has since gone viral on social media.

Northeast District deputy police chief Supt Lee Swee Sake said a 25-year-old man lodged a report at 7.55 pm.
