00:00The Philippine Navy successfully conducted a unilateral and gunnery exercise on Monday

00:05in the vicinity of Bajo de Masinloc.

00:08The drills conducted amid rough seas involved the guided missile frigate BRP Jose Rizal,

00:13offshore patrol vessel BRP Ramon Alcaraz, and landing dock ship BRP Tarlac.

00:19The exercises included live-fire drills, maneuvering, and communications operations.

00:25Meanwhile, in February, surveillance recorded a total of 19 vessels from the People's Liberation

00:30Army Navy and China Coast Guard in Bajo de Masinloc and Ayungin Shoal.

00:36The Philippines continues regular maritime patrols and aerial surveillance in the West

00:41Philippine Sea.

00:42The Navy reiterated that the presence of Chinese vessels within the country's Exclusive Economic

00:47Zone, or EEZ, is illegal.
