00:00The target of the Department of Tourism is for the Philippines to become a filmmaking hub

00:04which is expected to be a big help to the country's economy.

00:07This is the result of the efforts of the industry producers and executives

00:11led by First Lady Liza Reneta Marcos,

00:14a member of the DOT and DTI in Los Angeles, California.

00:17This is part of the Expanding the Bridge Initiative

00:20which aims to reintroduce the film and entertainment industry in the country, or the country, to Hollywood.

00:25According to Tourism Secretary Cristina Garcia Frasco,

00:28there are many beautiful places such as beaches that can become film locations.

00:32According to her, there are incentives that will be given to a foreign film production company

00:37that will partner with a local production company.

00:40This is followed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. to create more law.
