00:00All right, let's start off our National League West preview concludes with a discussion on

00:11the Dodgers and the National League West.

00:14Let's start off with their season win total, which is as high as I can ever remember a

00:17season win total being.

00:20Let's go buy or sell George the Dodgers will win 110 games or more.

00:26I should say this season because the landing on 110 is definitely a sell.

00:30So let's say 110 or more this season.

00:33So 110 and 52 or better.

00:37Yeah, there are some who believe the Dodgers will set the record this year, right?

00:40Was it 117 wins in a season sets the record?

00:45They certainly can.

00:46All right, you and I already went over that.

00:47I mean, that pitching staff, they could throw up there with eight, nine stars.

00:51So if they have a rash of injuries like they had last year, they'll be just fine here.

00:55The offense should cook, they can hit.

00:58I think they're certainly capable.

00:59I think it could happen here.

01:01I also think in September, though, once they get ready for the playoffs, wins won't be

01:05as important for them.

01:06All right.

01:07I think they win the division pretty easily.

01:08They'll have the number one seed here.

01:10It's all about October winning another World Series here.

01:12So I'm going to sell this.

01:15I have taken the over 103 and a half.

01:17So I guess I'm banking that they'll win between 104 and 109 games this season for the Dodgers

01:23here.

01:24Winning 110 stuff.

01:25You're winning every series, two of every three.

01:27All right.

01:28So I'm going to say I'll take the under here, under 110, sort of just saying I think I win

01:33a ton of games, but not 110, 111.

01:36No.

01:37Yeah.

01:38I'll take the over.

01:39I would bet over if I had to on the Dodgers.

01:42I don't play in the lower or higher markets ever.

01:45I'm more of a middle market guy when it comes to this stuff.

01:49But I think that I will go over here.

01:53I'll go with like 111, 112 games.

01:55I could see that easily in 50.

01:57You know, the only problem is what happens in September.

02:00But I think the difference this year is that, look, you could have Otani at the end of the

02:04season.

02:05You could have Kershaw at the end of the season.

02:07And usually you get them at the beginning of the season.

02:09So I think their late season surge could be legit.

02:12And I will buy.

02:13I will buy this for the Dodgers this season, winning 110 games or more.

02:17All right.

02:18Now, in the National League West, we certainly have a minimum of three teams that are going

02:22to fight it out to make the postseason.

02:24We have the Dodgers, who would seem to be a postseason lock.

02:26You have the Diamondbacks.

02:27You have the Padres.

02:29And maybe you feel the Giants could potentially make the postseason too.

02:32Rockies are not going to make it.

02:33George, buy or sell, three National League West teams will make the postseason this year.

02:41Rockies not making the playoffs.

02:42Oh, yeah.

02:43The Rockies might lose 110-plus.

02:44They're certainly not making the playoffs there.

02:45All right.

02:46Let's just count the National League Central.

02:52I think the only team to make the playoffs there is whoever wins that division, Cubs,

02:56Reds, whoever it might be there.

02:57All right.

02:58So we got three wildcard teams, Braves, Phillies, Mets.

03:03I think they'll be in contention, want to win with division.

03:07Then you go to the West here and you go, I don't think the Giants make it either, by

03:12the way.

03:14Dodgers win with division, Diamondbacks, and the Padres.

03:18So Diamondbacks, Padres, let's give the division to the Phillies, Mets, Braves.

03:24One doesn't make it.

03:25All right.

03:26I'm going to buy this.

03:28I'm in on Arizona.

03:29I think they're one of the teams.

03:30San Diego, I like San Diego.

03:31I do worry if they'll make additions during the season with the ownership issues here

03:37that they need to make.

03:38I also wonder if they'll trade Dylan Cease.

03:40I wonder if they'll trade Michael King.

03:41I said earlier, Michael King, free agent.

03:43They may not want to pay him what his going rate's going to be, and they may not want

03:46to lose him for nothing, especially since they acquired him in the Juan Soto trade,

03:49one of the players from the Yankees there.

03:51So I'm going to buy this, though.

03:53All right.

03:54I'll say that I guess even the Braves, because they don't have a corner, they don't have

03:57Strider to start the season.

03:59Maybe Sales, not the sale he was from last year.

04:03I think we heard of Renaldo Lopez.

04:04His velocity is down as well.

04:05So maybe he has an injury there that we don't know about.

04:07This is what we heard.

04:08I don't know for sure.

04:09All right.

04:11I don't want anybody to go bananas on that.

04:12So I'm going to buy.

04:13I'm going to say yes, three teams won't make it from the National League West.
