00:00The Department of Environment and Natural Resources, or DNR, has cancelled the 2002

00:05agreement with Blue Star Construction Development Corporation, which was designated as the contractor

00:10for a government housing project in Musungi.

00:13The termination was due to several irregularities, including deficiencies in the bidding process

00:18and implementation concerns.

00:20Following the cancellation, the DNR has ordered Blue Star Construction to vacate the 300-hectare

00:26site, which includes the Musungi Geopark area.
