00:04is proud that the agency has sufficient funds

00:06to support their benefits and programs.

00:10According to Dr. Mercado,

00:11they will continue to increase the benefits for the members.

00:16This is in line with their RISE mission,

00:1830 months forward, 30 days at a time.

00:22This includes the addition of other cancer benefit packages.

00:26They are the key priorities of PhilHealth's new leadership,

00:30efficiency, digitalization, and expansion of benefits.

00:35The agency's target is to reduce out-of-pocket patients

00:39from 20 to 30 percent,

00:41including OPD, drugs, and hospitalization.

00:45Meanwhile, PhilHealth also announced that

00:48the process of Flexibility Claim Reimbursement will begin today.

00:53This is the return of unpaid claims from Dec. 1, 2018 to Dec. 31, 2024

01:00that amounted to more than Php 8 billion

01:03for more than a million beneficiaries.

01:08In spite of us not having additional subsidies,

01:12we are still expanding the benefits.

01:15We will continue to provide services.

01:18Within 30 days,

01:20we have already issued four policies.

01:24These are new benefits

01:27and there are also enhanced benefits.
