00:07Good news for PhilHealth members

00:10because they have added benefits for their members.

00:14PhilHealth has given more benefits to their members.

00:1850% added benefits for 9,000 case rates.

00:23This is only from the previous 30%.

00:26As we begin 2025,

00:29I am filled with pride and gratitude

00:31for the milestones we achieved in advancing the health and well-being

00:35of the Filipino people.

00:38Last year,

00:40we made a promise

00:42to expand our coverage

00:44and prioritize the top 10 most burdensome diseases,

00:48addressing the financial challenges

00:50these conditions bring

00:52to our members and their families.

00:55I am proud to share that we delivered on this commitment.

00:59As for the Schemic Heart Disease,

01:03according to PhilHealth,

01:04it is clear to them that the primary cause of death in the Philippines

01:07is heart disease.

01:09The list also includes Pneumonia.

01:11From P15,000,

01:13it rose to P29,250.

01:17The previous P40,300,

01:19now P60,450 package rate

01:22will be covered by PhilHealth.

01:24As for Caesarean,

01:26PhilHealth will now cover P37,050

01:29from the previous P19,000.

01:32As for the additional PhilHealth benefits,

01:35the fifth leading cause of death is Chronic Kidney Disease.

01:38Also included in the additional benefits

01:40is the Outpatient Emergency Care Benefit

01:42or those discharged from the hospital

01:44within 24 hours.

01:46The Preventive Oral Health Services in Primary Care

01:49also has an updated benefit.

01:52Other case rates can be found on PhilHealth's website.

02:19Some of the additional benefits of PhilHealth

02:21were suggested by AgriPartners' Representative,

02:23Wilbert Manoy Lee,

02:25in the budget deliberation of the Congress.

02:27Normally, our problem is that there is no fund.

02:29In this situation,

02:35Why can't we do this?

02:37What I can't accept here is

02:39why is it so slow?

02:41Why is there a delay?

02:43As for the P4 billion backlog

02:45in PhilHealth's debt,
