00:13because they have added benefits for their members.

00:17PhilHealth gave a bigger benefit to their members.

00:2150% added benefit for 9,000 case rates.

00:26This is only from the previous 30%.

00:29As we begin 2025, I am filled with pride and gratitude for

00:34the milestones we achieved in advancing the health and well-being of the Filipino people.

00:41Last year, we made a promise to expand our coverage and

00:47prioritize the top ten most burdensome diseases, addressing the financial

00:52challenges these conditions bring to our members and their families.

00:58I am proud to share that we delivered on this commitment.

01:02One of the most noteworthy diseases is ischemic heart disease.

01:05According to PhilHealth, it is clear to them that the primary cause of death in the Philippines is heart disease.

01:12Among the list is pneumonia.

01:14From P15,000, it rose to P29,250.

01:20The previous P40,300, now the PhilHealth will cover P60,450 package rate.

01:27In the cesarean cycle, PhilHealth will cover P37,050 from the previous P19,000.

01:35Among the additional PhilHealth benefits, the fifth leading cause of death is chronic kidney disease.

01:41Among the additional benefits are the outpatient emergency care benefit,

01:45or those who are discharged from the hospital within 24 hours.

01:49Preventive oral health services in primary care are also updated.
