00:00Uh, you know, Mike, you know, it's, it's, I, I, you know, talking to our producer Frank

00:03here before the show, he made a pretty good point.

00:05He said that this game was probably bigger for A&M than it was for Auburn, who seems

00:09to probably have locked in a number one seed.

00:12If they're not the number one team in the country, I mean, who knows, maybe they lose

00:15one more time in their number two team in the country, but definitely a signature win

00:18for A&M, which is going to help their seeding coming up in a couple of weeks.

00:22Absolutely.

00:23And plus, don't forget, A&M was on a four game losing streak.

00:26So they needed to write their circumstance.

00:30They couldn't go into the SEC tournament on a significant losing streak, or even if

00:36they'd win this weekend, a five of six type deal, they needed to get it back.

00:40And this was an opportunity to get a big one.

00:42I caught a vibe when I was looking at that game that reminded me a little bit of, of

00:50Florida in their 2006, 07 season when they won the championship, but they went into the

00:54SEC tournament losing three of five, because it just didn't matter to them.

00:59They clinched the SEC regular season championship with a lot of time left, a week and a half

01:04left in the season.

01:05And they just seemed to, okay, we, we, this, this didn't mean that much to us, given that

01:09we're trying to go two in a row, but it meant something.

01:12And now there's not anything that means anything to us the rest of the way until we get to

01:16the SEC tournament.

01:18So that's kind of how it went.

01:19And I felt like that with Auburn, Auburn is going to be the number one overall seed,

01:25if they lose their next two, I think they still will be the one overall seed because

01:29of all they've accomplished.

01:31And so I don't know about the poll ranking, but I don't care about it.

01:35And I don't think they do either.

01:37They want to win in March.

01:39They want to win the biggest trophy.

01:41Certainly they already have the SEC regular season.

01:45And they certainly would like to win the SEC tournament as well.

01:48But the big trophy is the one they're after.

01:50A desperation can do a lot of things at this time of year.

01:53And you saw that across the bubble on Tuesday night, how, how intense the games were, how

01:59competitive they were, how well played they were because of what everybody is trying to

02:04get done.

02:05And I think although A&M is far from the bubble, I think the same concept was at work because

02:10of the losing streak.
