00:03And I think you bring up a good point about the offensive line be Mitch, because one of

00:06the things that I liked about drafting Jaden and look, you know, you guys have brought

00:11it up plenty of times.

00:12JP always loves to bring it up.

00:14I was a Drake May guy.

00:15I was wrong.

00:16I'm glad that they went with Jaden Daniels.

00:18One of the reasons that I like that you went with Jaden and you're able to work at the

00:22offense now is it seems like you can win in however you need to attack a defense.

00:28You need to run the quarterback and the read option or run some option plays.

00:32You can do that.

00:33If you need to sit back there and run RPOs all game, you can do that.

00:36If you need to run a drop back pass game, he can do that.

00:39And so I think if you can give him an offensive line where if Cliff gets into a game where

00:44he says, we're just going to have to drop back 35 times and we're going to have Jaden

00:48make the decisions, you need to have an offensive line that allows him to stay in the pocket

00:53and do that.

00:54I totally agree with you.

00:55It all starts with the O-line because we looked last year and let's be real, there were games

01:00when they were good.

01:01There were games when they didn't look as effective as they should be.

01:07When they got injured a little bit, we began to see about our depth and things of that

01:12nature.

01:13And let's be real, you can win a Super Bowl, your team still changes.

01:17So you have to improve to try to get, and you're competing.

01:21You're competing against the Super Bowl champs who are in our division, not like we're going

01:27to see them play in the Super Bowl, we got to play them twice.

01:31If we're going to get to the Super Bowl, we probably got to beat them.

01:33So I think the ultimate thing is having that O-line that can, I watch football in these

01:40days where it's fourth and inches and I see somebody in shotgun, it runs me crazy.

01:50If you can't block to get an inch or five inches or a yard, that's a problem.

01:57You got to, if they get an O-line that is effective, pass-protecting because they can

02:02extend more time, but they better be able to block one yard.

02:07You know, I love that we went for a lot of our fourth downs last year.

02:10It showed a lot and it made the offensive lineman understand your coach have a belief

02:15in you, has a belief in you to where you're going to be okay.

02:19But when it's fourth and inches, we should be able to line up and get against any defense,

02:23no matter who the hell they are.

02:25And that's going to take some bigger, more athletic guys, point blank.

02:28Well, and if you want him to take that next step, I mean, this year he played at a top

02:32five level, right?

02:33He played as a top five quarterback this season.

02:36And so I don't even know that I'm worried about next step.

02:38Replicate what you did at the end of this season.

02:41That's good enough.

02:42Like the way that he played at the end of this season was MVP caliber.

02:45I need him to improve year after year, right?

02:48What I don't want to see Toby for every fan out there, I don't want every game to come

03:01How about that poise that they showed at the end of the season?

03:05This is a, it's not a question.

03:07This is something I'm hoping for the poise that they showed defensively because let's

03:12be real.

03:14In multiple games, our defense had to go get the ball back for us.

03:18And then the office had a chance to go do their job.

03:20So the poise that they showed, the resolve that they showed late in games, let's show

03:24that a little bit more first half in the game to where you don't have to worry about it

03:29until then.

03:30But we know they're capable.

03:33Blow some people out there once in a while.

03:35Yeah, please.

03:36And they did that a few times last year, but you went down a stretch six in a row.

03:40Yeah.

03:41Against the team that is above 500 or a potential playoff team, blow the doors off of them.

03:46You know, I think maybe Arizona was kind of in that mix before, you know, around that

03:50timeframe and at the end of the year, they're kind of right there around that 500 mark.

03:54Maybe you want to throw them, but yeah, like down the stretch, every game was one on the

03:57last play.

03:58You don't want that.

04:00And it's remarkable.

04:02It builds for a great story.
