00:06that I don't think you see from a lot of quarterbacks,

00:08especially a lot of rookie quarterbacks.

00:10He's shown the competitiveness, the desire,

00:12all those things.

00:13Frankly, I thought he already had all that.

00:15What I think he showed us yesterday

00:17in the second half of that game,

00:18that he could beat you from the pocket.

00:20And I think that's by far the most important thing

00:22for NFL quarterbacks.

00:24You don't want to change anything.

00:25I'm not trying to stop him running anything.

00:27The second half of that game,

00:28he was 12 of 16 for a buck 40.

01:35oh my God, this quarterback gives Washington a chance

01:37every time they step on the field,

01:39then I feel like we're watching something different.

01:41And I feel like that is so far and away

01:43the most important lesson from yesterday.

01:46And not that in Tampa, he was bad.

01:49He was pretty good.

01:51And not that in the first half yesterday, he was bad.

01:53They were still moving the football,

01:55but in the second half, you start to see,

01:58at least in my eyes, you started to see the passer

02:02that Daniels proved to be at LSU

02:04that absolutely torched everybody.

02:06And as that dude grows more comfortable,

02:09that was his fourth half of NFL football.

02:12Like this is happening in such an accelerated timeline.

02:15David R just said, if he can do one thing per game

02:18to show you why he was drafted at the second pick,

02:22you got you something.

02:23He's done more than one thing per game.

02:27That drive was engineered perfectly.

02:29And the thing of it is, there are going to be times

02:32where your quarterback will be getting their bus kick.

02:36We watched, I watched Cincinnati and Kansas City yesterday.

02:41Two that we consider damn good.

02:42They were getting their ass kicked there

02:43at certain points of the game.

02:44You watched Caleb Williams last night?

02:46I watched him.

02:47But I watch a lot of quarterbacks

02:48that are extremely good and established.

02:52They were losing at one point,

02:54but what did Pat Mahomes do down the stretch

02:56to get him down?

02:57Got him in a position,

02:58give the guy a chance to kick a field goal.

03:00You have to have that little knack in you,

03:02that type of nerve or whatever in you,

03:07or have that about you to be able to go down

03:09and do those things.

03:10He does.

03:11And I just think that it's like we get people sometimes

03:13and we get to a point where we want them to be perfect.

03:16Nobody's perfect out there.

03:18You know, I look at a lot of games yesterday

03:20where teams were perfect last week,

03:22look like garbage this week.
