00:00The OFW Bagong Pilipinas Servisyo Caravan in Pampanga is now on strike.

00:06This was led by the Department of Migrant Workers.

00:09PTV's Bian Manalo with the country's latest news, Bian.

00:13My fellow countrymen, for those of us who want to work abroad,

00:18the OFW Bagong Pilipinas Servisyo Caravan here in San Fernando, Pilipinas, Pampanga,

00:29this is the reason why the Department of Migrant Workers and the OFW is implementing this program.

00:35For those of us who want to work abroad,

00:38for those of us who want to work overseas,

00:41for those of us who want to work here in the Philippines,

00:44this is in compliance with the Directive of the President of the United Nations,

00:48which states that the OFW Bagong Pilipinas Servisyo Caravan

00:52and the OFW Bagong Pilipinas Servisyo Caravan

00:56are in compliance with the Pre-Employment, Welfare and Legal Assistance and Integration Program.

01:03This is also in compliance with the two agreements.

01:07First, the Memorandum of Agreement between the DMW,

01:11the Department of Migrant Employment Registry,

01:13the National Registry and the Provincial Government of Pampanga

01:16on providing work and skilling programs to the OFW

01:20and the agreement between the OFW Hospital

01:24and the Memorandum of Agreement between the DMW and the Provincial Government of Pampanga

01:30on providing health care services to the OFW.

01:34The financial and livelihood assistance of the DMW National Reintegration Center

01:39for OFW will be provided to 100 beneficiaries of the Action Fund

01:42and the Livelihood Program for Overseas Reintegration.

01:45This is also in compliance with the programs of the Government

01:49of the Department of Foreign Affairs, National Bureau of Investigation and Overseas Reintegration of Pampanga.

01:55Now, the Overseas Workers of the Welfare Administration of OWA

01:59will have fun and exciting games in their OWATS Hour.
