00:00The Philippines and Japan have agreed to deepen cooperation in three areas of defense and security

00:07with the assistance of Defense Secretary Gilbert Quidoro and Japan Defense Minister Gen Nakatani

00:13as part of the Operational Cooperation Advancements in Bilateral and Multilateral Training.

00:21Strategic dialogue will be established between the high-level operational action officers

00:26and the deepening of cooperation in defense equipment and technology.

00:32Meanwhile, Secretary Quidoro also assisted in strengthening the cooperation of the two countries

00:38for the rules-based international order and the open and free Indo-Pacific

00:43in the face of the continued occupation of China and other countries that changed the concept of international order.

00:50The Philippine Defense Chief also hopes that Japan will sign the Reciprocal Access Agreement

00:57that will lead to a stronger collaboration of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Self-Defense Forces of Japan.
