00:00Morning. For many, there will be some bright and dry weather on offer today. I hope you're
00:04able to make the most of it because tomorrow is looking wet and windy. That being said,
00:09in the southeast through this morning, there is some rain around. It's going to be quite
00:13persistent, perhaps even heavy at times across parts of East Anglia and Kent, but eventually
00:18that rain will clear away towards the east this afternoon, just the cloud lingering for
00:23a bit longer though. Elsewhere, a good deal of bright weather on offer. Yes, there are
00:27some showers around across central and western parts of Scotland, a few for Northern Ireland,
00:31and also some developing through the afternoon across parts of Wales, the Midlands, as well
00:36as southern south-western England too. Some of them here could be a little bit on the
00:40heavy side, but in between the showers and in other places, some decent bright sunny
00:44spells. Temperatures aren't going to be quite as high as they were to end the week, but
00:49nonetheless still a little bit above average for the time of year. With more sunshine on
00:53offer, not especially strong winds, it's probably going to feel a bit more pleasant
00:57than it has done recently. Still some cloud for a time as we go into the evening across
01:02parts of the far southeast, but even here it's going to clear away. So clearer skies
01:06for many overnight, with most of the showers dying out fairly quickly as well. Some mist
01:11and murk developing across some western southern coastal parts, so some low clouds, some fog
01:16perhaps in a few places. But as we go through the early hours of Sunday morning, we are
01:21going to see some rain spilling in across parts of Northern Ireland, later reaching
01:25the far west of Scotland, and the winds will be strengthening too. And as those winds strengthen,
01:31that's going to help clear away a fair deal of the murkiness as well. It's also going
01:35to start to lift our temperatures, so whilst in the east where we hold on to some clearer
01:39skies and have lighter winds through the night, it could turn a little chilly. Further west
01:44it's going to be pretty mild first thing on Sunday morning. But it is going to be a wet
01:49and windy day tomorrow. The heavy rain, the strong winds will sweep across pretty much
01:54the whole of the country. We do have a number of warnings out at the moment. The risk of
01:58gusts of 60 to 70 miles per hour in some exposed coastal spots, particularly around Irish sea
02:03coastal areas, and some high rainfall totals building up as well. Parts of southwest Scotland,
02:08Wales, southwest England likely to see a significant amount of rain. And because it was pretty
02:13wet yesterday as well, the ground's fairly saturated, so there is a risk of some flooding.
02:19Thermal disruption and because of the winds as well, we could see some power cuts in places
02:22too. Temperatures on paper a little bit lower than today and with the wind, the rain, the
02:27cloud, it is going to feel more unpleasant as well. Later on as we go through into next
02:33week and we are going to see the system that comes through tomorrow clearing away on Monday
02:37and then it's quite a showery picture really. There will be some hefty showers at times
02:42but also some sunny spells in between. I think as we go towards the end of the week, another
02:46system set to push its way in but this is likely to bring something wetter and windier
02:50towards northwestern parts. The further south and east you are, the greater chance you have
02:54of staying largely dry. Now our warnings are going to be constantly updated for Sunday
02:59so make sure you stay on top of those. You can do that by subscribing to our YouTube
03:03channel. I'll see you again soon. Bye bye.
