00:17The new Migrant Workers Office or MWO of the Philippines in Bangkok, Thailand is scheduled to open this year.

00:23This was reported by Philippine Ambassador to Thailand, Millicent Cruz Paredes on Radyo Pilipinas World Service.

00:30Finally, the Migrant Workers Office in Bangkok will open this year.

00:40Of course, this is in accordance with the establishment of the new Department of Migrant Workers.

00:49Currently, the Philippine Embassy continues to provide services to Filipinos in Thailand while the MWO is not yet open.

00:56The Philippine Labor Attaché is still arranging its employment in the country.

01:01The Migrant Workers Office is the job of the Philippine government that primarily helps in protecting OFWs,

01:09such as verifying potential employers.

01:12Its aim is to avoid trafficking to Filipinos, especially pecking companies abroad.
