00:05I did not see it brewing.

00:06I knew there was going to be an intensity to the start of the game.

00:10You know, I knew that I knew how invested both teams were and what it meant to the players.

00:17I didn't anticipate, you know, it to start the way it started.

00:22But I did anticipate an emotional start, probably a physical start.

00:27And so, you know, it was an electric environment.

00:34It was an emotional environment.

00:37And both sides were, they were vested.

00:39It was, you know, it set the tone for the rest of the hockey game, which was an emotionally

00:47intensive game.

00:49One of the more intense games that I've been, that I've certainly witnessed and been associated

00:54with.

00:55Listen, this guy's a great coach.

00:58He's got Stanley Cups now.

01:01And seriously, a couple of things, one, I think the Penguins, you know, there's, I have

01:07always felt there's been a problem in sports with turnover and change.

01:12You know, just doing it for the sake of change to me is a bad idea in life.

01:18People changing things that work, that have worked, that does work, just because they

01:24don't have players that are in their prime anymore.

01:27Sidney Crosby and Morgan, when they won all those Cups with Fleury and Murray, they were

01:31at the peak of their youth and their best point of their career.

01:37They were at their all-time highest players.

01:39They're not winning again.

01:40They're not winning another Stanley Cup.

01:41The rest of the team sucks, right?

01:43You know, Crosby's still great.

01:44The rest of the team sucks.

01:46Mike Sullivan does not suck, okay?

01:49If they fire that guy just to change, they need a change in the room.

01:55They just need a change.

01:57That guy's a great coach.

01:58Secondly, I think his daughter's married to that Charlie McAvoy, right, and had a baby.

02:03I think he's got a grandkid now.

02:05He's got a grandchild and he's, you know, obviously from Boston and he was with Boston

02:10and everyone always thought he'd be the, you know, Boston Bruins coach and he's been in

02:15Pittsburgh forever.

02:17I just think they would, it would behoove them to keep him.

02:20I think that they should not even remotely consider getting rid of Mike Sullivan.

02:26If I'm wrong, why is he the coach of Team USA?

02:29Because he sucks?

02:30Or because the Penguins suck?

02:32Is he the head coach because he's, you know, he's on this loser?

02:35He's got that job because he's a great coach and they should just stop with all their nonsense.

02:41The Penguins' problem, Mike, as you know, is they have no talent and no goaltending.

02:49Let's just stop with all this nonsense that it's his fault.

02:52What they should do is give him a new extension long-term and let him coach his way through

02:57this mess.

02:58And they need to draft again like they did with Lemieux and Crosby.

03:01They need to get their hands on another star player or two to start it all up over again.

03:08Look, I still believe Conor McDavid is going to win a Stanley Cup.

03:13This guy in Colorado, he's won every award known to man.

03:25McDavid's going to get his Stanley Cup.

03:27He's too good not to.

03:28Name one great player.

03:38just an unbelievable great player.

03:41McDavid's going to get one, too.

03:50Crosby lost a game with Canada for the first time since 2010.

03:53Then he won again today.

03:54The USA Canada game had 4.4 million viewers.

03:58Most watched non-Stanley Cup final hockey game since 2019.

04:02I also saw, now I know it wasn't a big weekend.

04:05There wasn't a lot of other things going on.

04:07It was the most bet sporting event at a couple of the books throughout the entire weekend

04:13of everything going on.

04:14So the USA Canada game, it got a lot of buzz.
