00:13the lower limbs which disrupts the flow of blood from the lower limbs back into the circulation.

00:18The precautionary measures that one needs to take to avoid deep vein thrombosis is one

00:24that to avoid sitting for a long time while traveling. Make sure that you're hydrated well

00:32to improve the viscosity of the blood. Consider compression stockings while traveling for long

00:38distance. Stop smoking usually it increases the viscosity of the blood. Maintain a healthy weight.

00:46Increase in body weight usually causes increase in viscosity of the blood leading to deep vein

00:51thrombosis. If you are prescribed medication, keep up to the medications while on vacation

01:17the clot is not increasing in size and would not have a possibility of getting dislodged.
