00:00The target of the social security system is to lower the interest, salary, and calamity loans

00:05and improve their services for pensioners and self-employed coverage.

00:11According to the SSS President and CEO, Robert Joseph Claro,

00:15they are now studying the annual confirmation of pensioners program

00:20to simplify the requirements and facilitate the verification process of pensioners.

00:26In 2024, the number of SSS pensioners will reach more than 150,000.

00:33Meanwhile, the agency also plans to lower the interest rate of loan programs

00:38which is currently at 10% per annum.

00:41In addition, the SSS will also consult with the Professional Regulatory or Regulation Commission

00:48to discuss a better collection when it comes to SSS coverage of self-employed workers.
