Thousands demonstrated in Germany at the site of the Munich Security Conference protesting against NATO, the arms industry and further weapons deliveries to Ukraine as a counter pro-Ukraine protest also took place.

00:26Some 5,000 police officers were reportedly deployed to secure the vicinity.

00:31Police sources say more than 2,500 protesters participated in the rallies, adding that there

00:36were no incidents or violence.

00:39They also say that the turnout was lower than anticipated, and say Thursday's vehicle ramming

00:44attack against a protest in the city may have impacted that.

00:47A separate protest also took place in support of Ukraine.

00:51Participants of that protest urged politicians to continue financially and militarily supporting

00:56Kiev in its fight against Moscow.
