00:00The Philippines won against Qatar in their first game in the Second Doha International Cup.

00:05The host team was early to build up the 11-point deficit.

00:10Naturalized player Justin Brownlee was also eliminated in the first half,

00:14so the offense of Coponan became weak.

00:18But by the end of the fourth quarter, the Philippines came back to clear the big advantage of Qatar.

00:24Following Brownlee's slam dunk from AJ Edu's assist,

00:28the Philippines gained a lead of 17-69.

00:31At that point, Gilas didn't let Avanti go.

00:35In their next possession, Dwight Ramos' floater took the game.

00:39The final score? 74-71 for Gilas, Philippines.

00:43Ramos led Coponan with 15 points on 3-4-5 shooting from a 3-point line.

00:49Junmar Fajardo added 12 markers while Brownlee and Scottie Thompson had 10 points.

00:56Coponan will face off against Lebanon on Saturday at 11 p.m.
