00:00If you're flying through Dubai International Airport, you can soon breeze through the airport

00:06checking and security by just showing your face.

00:10The new biometric system introduced by the GDRFA Dubai will allow travelers to walk through

00:15the airport's touchpoints without need to show their travel documents or boarding pass.

00:20With only a mix of facial and iris recognition, your face becomes your passport.

00:26Now this is all about saving time.

00:28These cameras can verify my identity within seconds.

00:31It is faster than me pulling my passport and hand it over to her and she can scan it to

00:35verify my identity.

00:36It's a new step to the future.

00:39Wow!

00:41That was amazing.

00:42I mean, I didn't need my passport to show it to the immigration officer.

00:47Just like my face was my identity and smoothly I'm going to the next touchpoint.

00:53As you can see, we went through today the full seamless journey at Dubai Airport.

00:57Any passenger having the registration, once he comes to the check-in, he will be eligible

01:01to use the SmartGate SmartTunnel.

01:03So once he comes to the check-in, they will take the facial biometrics and then he will

01:06pass to the second point, which is the immigration.

01:08At the immigration, once he gets the boarding pass with the SmartTunnel or SmartGate, he

01:12can use the service at immigration through the biometrics.

01:14And the final destination, which is the boarding, as you can see behind me.

01:18So the future step is to have a biometric seamless journey.

01:21So passengers won't need to use any of their documents once they come to Dubai Airport.

01:25With the facial and iris recognition, as you reach to the Emirates Business Lounge, the

01:30camera will detect your picture and verify your identity.

01:38It's that smooth.

01:39You can see, you can go and enter Emirates Business Lounge.

01:42This is one of the touchpoints that the biometric path will serve you.

01:48The state-of-the-art biometric map was the latest initiative introduced by Dubai for

01:53smooth traveling and seamless journey.
