00:002007, when we moved into Dubai with my wife, we actually came here for two weeks to visit my mom.

00:07We just got married and then we thought, OK, let's go to Dubai to visit my mom and see how it is.

00:14And, well, 2007, it's a history now.

00:18My last job was in the piano business, where I was invited to manage a piano company from scratch.

00:25Unfortunately, after three years of the operation in the business of that company, I had to leave.

00:30So this is when we had the idea that, you know, my passion is pianos and music and I want to do something.

00:36So this is when House of Pianos was born, early 2012.

00:42I had two of my friends working.

00:45They were also very unhappy about where they were working.

00:49And I was like, guys, if you want, join.

00:51So I didn't have all the 27,000 dirhams with my own.

00:54It was actually 8,000 from him, 5,000 from me and, you know, so on.

00:59In total, we had a budget of 27,000 dirhams in the kitchen of my house.

01:03So, OK, this is our first business.

01:05From the first day of House of Pianos being born,

01:10educational part, community initiatives have always been the integral part of me.

01:15It's in my DNA.

01:16And also it's in the DNA of our team.

01:19So we have done a lot of, from the very beginning, we started developing study tours for children.

01:26We have had a number of students, groups coming here where we talk about the history of music, history of piano,

01:34the benefit of playing music.

01:36And also we have done a lot of community events here whereby we provided a platform for master classes.

01:43We did workshops here, all for free.

01:46So we have a very strong principle.

01:48We don't pay, we don't charge.

01:50It is just for the love of music, for the community.

01:53And we are very proud to say that in the last nine years of our business in Dubai,

02:00we have developed and produced in Dubai.

02:04One of them is our piano shell.

02:07It has been designed by us and developed here and has become so popular

02:13that we have been having people like Andrea Bocelli, we have got Bruno Mars,

02:17we have got Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey.

02:21These were the artists who were actually playing Katy Perry.

02:24We provided them our piano shell for their performances for the last nine years that have been working.

02:32This is made in Dubai.

02:34We have also designed, you know, for children, again, for the piano,

02:40the earlier you start, the better, because you grow with it.

02:43So that's why we came up with the concept of a mini grand piano for kids,

02:48which has a digital piano built in.

02:52It gives kids the concept, the feel of a grand piano,

02:55and then the whole play is different, the whole experience.

02:59So this we have done.

03:00Another recent project that we launched is the flying piano.

03:04It's a floating piano up three meters above the ground

03:08with a beautiful dress, which is customizable for events across UAE.

03:13So which we have, again, designed, developed in Dubai.

03:16For me, Dubai till today is a source of inspiration.

03:19For me, Dubai today is a source of that strength that nothing is impossible.

03:26You just have to have the will and the right people to do it.

03:30And so till, yeah, I mean, when we started off, I knew we can do it.

03:36And, of course, with all the infrastructure that Dubai has to offer,

03:39the ease of doing business, you know, everything from economic department

03:44to Dubai customs for customs duties and all this,

03:47the way how smooth the process, the transaction goes,

03:51it's just, I mean, it's ideal.

03:54It's a dream come true for any entrepreneur.
