00:00The government continues to remind those affected by the heavy floods in Mimaropa,

00:07The details of ASAPIT of the PIA Mimaropa in Balinang Pambansa.

00:13More than 3.9 million pesos worth of food assistance

00:17has been distributed to the families affected by the heavy rains and heavy floods in Mimaropa,

00:23Dulut and Umeiral of Shirline.

00:26More than P615,000 from the Department of Social Welfare and Development or DSWD of Mimaropa,

00:32P2.4 million from the provincial and local government units

00:37and P908,000 from other organizations.

00:41Some of the municipalities of Baco and Victoria in Oriental Mindoro,

00:47Aborlan, Brooks Point, Nara and Lungsod of Puerto Princesa in Palawan.

00:53According to the DSWD, about 3,976 families with a total of 15,338 individuals

01:02were affected and evacuated to Oriental Mindoro and Palawan.

01:07Until now, about 3,599 families are currently in evacuation centers.

01:14377 families have returned to their homes.

01:19DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian ordered immediate coordination with local governments

01:24to speed up the progress for relief efforts.

01:28The DSWD will continue to coordinate with local governments in Mimaropa

01:33to immediately distribute assistance to the families affected by the heavy rains and floods.
