00:10A study has recommended setting up a savings investment fund to replace the end-of-service

00:14gratuity for expat workers in the UAE. The study presented to the government recently

00:20suggested a monthly amount be deducted from expat salaries in private and public sectors.

00:26It will be paid back as a lump sum to employees at the end of service or retirement, along

00:31with the returns from the investment.

00:34People using remote-controlled flying gadgets, including drones, will face a hefty fine and

00:39jail sentence if they are found breaching privacy. The move is part of a unified platform

00:44to register non-piloted flying machines in the country by the Ministry of Interior. Violators

00:50face up to 50,000 dirhams in fines or could be jailed for three years.

00:55US Vice President Mike Pence is postponing his trip to Egypt and Israel this week in
