00:11France will hold official ceremonies marking a year since the extremist attack on the offices

00:16of Charlie Hebdo, with the French satirical magazine defiantly reasserting its provocative

00:20spirit. President Francois Hollande will address a gathering of anti-terror security forces

00:25at Paris' police headquarters exactly one year after the attack, one of the most shocking

00:30in a bloody year for France.

00:33Qatar has become the latest country to back Saudi Arabia in its diplomatic row with Iran.

00:38The row followed mob attacks on Saudi missions in Iran following the execution of Nimr al-Nimri,

00:44an anti-government dissident in Saudi Arabia.

00:47Film and television internet streaming service Netflix is now available in the UAE. The American

00:52company launched in 130 countries overnight, including here in the Middle East. Netflix

00:57has confirmed the addition of Arabic to its support. Following the launch, Netflix is

01:02now available in 190 countries.

01:05Oil prices fell in overnight trade to a low not seen since 2004. International benchmark

01:11Brent Crude and U.S. Crude West Texas Intermediate are down 4%. Brent is selling at $32.86 a

01:17barrel and West Texas is at $32.63 a barrel.

01:22Hashim Amla resigned as South Africa captain immediately after his side drew the second

01:27test against England. The 32-year-old had been in poor form but made a double century

01:31to inspire his side's fight back after England made 629 for 6, declared in Cape Town.

01:37Amy De Villiers will lead South Africa in the third test in Johannesburg, which starts

01:41on January 14.

01:43Bollywood actress and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra has won the Favorite Actress in a News

01:47TV Series award at the People's Choice Awards 2016 for her lead role in American TV thriller

01:53series Quantico. The 33-year-old plays the role of an FBI agent named Alex Parrish in

01:58the show.

02:00And finally, the weather today is high across the UAE. It will be 23 degrees Celsius, dropping
