00:08stories at this hour. A Pakistani-American who helped plan a 2008 attack on India's financial

00:14hub told a court in India that he travelled to India seven times to scout potential targets

00:19for a Pakistan-based group. David Coleman Headley gave the court details of his role

00:23in planning the attack, in which more than 160 people were killed. Ojwal Nikam, the public

00:28prosecutor who questioned Headley during the testimony, said Headley told the court

00:32that Lashkar-e-Taiba had made two attempts to launch attacks in India but did not succeed.

00:37The third attempt resulted in the November 2008 attack, Headley told the court. Rescuers

00:42pulled two survivors from the rubble of a Taiwan apartment block on Monday, more than

00:4648 hours after it was toppled by an earthquake, but the mayor of the southern city of Tannin

00:50warned the death toll was likely to exceed 100. The official death toll from the quake
