00:11Plans to extend sections of Dubai Metro are on track with the designs of the expansion

00:16on three ends of the network currently being worked out.

00:19By 2020, the total length of Dubai Metro will be increased from 74 kilometers to 110.

00:26The extension will include a red-line branch from Jebel Ali to the Expo 2020 site and building

00:3221 more stations on the entire network.

00:35Microsoft said last night that founder Bill Gates was stepping down as chairman, with

00:39Indian-born Satya Nadella being named as the chief executive officer.

00:43Nadella, who becomes the third CEO at Microsoft, has been executive vice president of its cloud

00:49and enterprise group.

00:51Gates will devote more time to the company in his new role as founder and technology

00:55advisor, according to a company statement.

00:58Western-backed opposition groups in Syria are recruiting refugee children in neighboring

01:02countries, according to the UN chief Ban Ki-moon.

01:06He also said in a report that Syrian government forces are detaining and torturing children

01:11with rebel links.

01:13An unusually heavy winter storm slammed into the midsection of the United States on Tuesday.

01:18The storm system forced the closing of many state offices and schools in hardest-hit Kansas.

01:23Forecasters said it was heading east and threatening roughly two-thirds of the country

02:30The March 3rd date for the three misdemeanors was set on Tuesday and Bieber's attorneys

02:34have already filed a plea of not guilty.
