00:00A parade of fancy cars culminating at the Maydan Racecourse kicked off the week-long

00:2143rd UAE National Day celebrations in Dubai.

00:24The Dubai Grand Parade was part of the yearly Dubai Motor Festival under the theme, Passion

00:29and Wheels.

00:36Draped in a sea of UAE flags, the Maydan Motor Village reverberated with the powerful revs

00:41of 600 luxury cars.

00:43The festival has also set a new Guinness World Record for the largest number of cars in a

00:47single motorcade with 58 automotive marquees taking part in a mass convoy of supercars,

00:53classic and exotic cars.

01:05The three-hour parade featured the most prominent car brands from Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati

01:11to Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin and Bugatti.

01:14The convoy traced a 47-kilometer route around iconic Dubai landmarks and passings sighted

01:19on lookers.

01:28Apart from the parade, Dubai residents and visitors also enjoyed auto-themed entertainment

01:33at Maydan.

01:34The festival also featured the world's first car-light show by Infiniti, the Red Bull Car

01:39Park Drift Grand Final as well as several competitions.
