Queensland Premier Crisafulli ticks his own box of approval after 100 days in office

David Crisafulli has given himself the tick of approval after his 100 days in office, saying he's delivered everything he promised. The premier marked the milestone on Sunday, but the opposition wasn't giving him any kudos.

00:11We have delivered all 43 key commitments that we promised Queenslanders to deliver the fresh

00:16start that this state needed.

00:18Over the past week, the government ticked off the final elements of the plan, including

00:23releasing real-time data for emergency departments and renaming satellite hospitals.

00:28It was a huge challenge, and we gave ourselves no wriggle room.

00:33But Labor isn't giving them credit.

00:35Many of the tasks on David Crisafulli's to-do list on the 100-day plan were business as

00:42usual for government.

00:43The LNP used its first 100 days in office to introduce its so-called adult crime, adult

00:49time laws.

00:50It means juveniles who commit 13 serious offences will now be sentenced as adults.

00:56The Premier says more changes are on the way.

00:58I was pretty definitive for the election.

01:00I said there'd be fewer victims this term, so that shows how serious I am.

01:05Four years is way too long to wait for Queenslanders.

01:08David Crisafulli promised immediate action on crime in this state.

01:12Is Queensland still in a youth crime crisis?

01:14You bet.

01:15And I bet you most Queenslanders find it refreshing that someone in the role that I have can actually

01:22say that.

01:23But attention is now turning to a long-awaited Olympics review due next month, and the government's

01:28first budget to be handed down in June.

01:31It is just the start, the fresh start that we promised, but there is a lot more that

01:35needs to be done.

01:36100 days down, more than 1,300 to go until the next election.
