Queensland's political leaders are blitzing a number of seats in the state's southeast today two days out from polling day. Opposition Leader David Crisafulli is campaigning in Labor-held seats that the LNP is hoping to win at Saturday's election.

00:14heading out to the electorate of Mount Hominy where he visited a souvlaki shop.

00:19He later made a campaign stop in Redlands at a local YMCA and is now at a pre-polling

00:23station in the electorate of Kapalabar.

00:26Published opinion polls have suggested in recent months that the LNP is on track for

00:29victory at Saturday's election.

00:31David Christopher Lee today indicated he was bracing for a closer result and said he hadn't

00:36started writing a victory speech.

00:39This is our fresh start blitz and it started with seeing some fresh fruit and veggies and

00:43now I've got a fresh change of clothes and here we go.
