00:00The movement's leader's attack on the DAP in relation to religion is seen as controversial

00:07with the narrative of the struggle for world peace announced by the party last month, according to analysis.

00:14Lao Tzu Wei from the Malaysian International University of Islam views the movement in principle as willing to bring new goals,

00:22but still far from practical.

00:25So, whether or not the old political narrative brings the sentiment of resistance is still the backbone of the movement.

00:32Fellow National Professor Azmi Hassan said the movement needs to rethink why they prefer to draw votes, not the Malays,

00:41compared to the DAP which has strong support even though they work together with UMNO.

00:46Recently, the media reported that the president of the movement, O Tong Kiong, criticized the DAP

00:52for not upholding the principle of prioritizing Muslims and Malays in the coalition government since the PRU15.

00:59To continue, Azmi said the criticism of the movement shows that the party is increasingly pressured

01:05to draw support from non-Muslim communities, especially the Chinese community.
