00:00All right, so let's start with the two trades yesterday.

00:02I don't think anybody's surprised Jimmy Butler got traded,

00:05so we'll just break that one down.

00:06But I did see some surprise that Brandon Ingram,

00:09the specifics of the deal that he got moved yesterday.

00:11Was this expected?

00:13Did this one sort of fly under the radar

00:16of like a lot of folks?

00:18I mean, look, not to the magnitude, obviously,

00:19of the trade with the Lakers and Mavericks,

00:22but did you see this one coming?

00:24You know, as we got closer to this deadline,

00:27I did start to expect something to happen.

00:28He was linked to both the Raptors and the Hawks,

00:31and his time in New Orleans was seemingly coming to an end.

00:34The emergence of Trey Murphy III kind of opened a spot,

00:37or the need for him to have more opportunity in New Orleans,

00:41and that kind of pushed Brandon Ingram out of the door.

00:43The Raptors are a team

00:44who now have a very talented lineup.

00:46We talked about Brandon Ingram, RJ Barrett,

00:47Emmanuel Quigley, and Scottie Barnes.

00:49That's four talented young players.

00:51Will the fit work?

00:52That remains to be seen,

00:53but kind of a buy-low spot for the Raptors there,

00:55trading Bruce Brown, who was on his way out anyway,

00:58Kelly Olink, an older player, as well as draft capital.

01:00So I think it could be a win-win for both teams

01:03if Brandon Ingram was gonna walk any way from New Orleans.

01:05They get a draft pick in return

01:06instead of losing it for nothing.
