SportsGrid out here in New Orleans. Kevin Walsh with NFL offensive lineman Will
00:05
Hernandez. We'll get right into it. What's going on here? Right, I mean you're with
00:10
GoDaddy. That's where the explanation lies. Can we talk about it a
00:14
little bit? Yeah guys, so I want to introduce you to my clone here and a lot
00:19
of you may have not known this, but I actually only play half of the games.
00:22
He comes in in the second half and plays the others. But no, so we've
00:27
been fortunate enough to partner up with GoDaddy. And GoDaddy is coming out
00:31
with a new AI software called Aero and they're using this software to help, you
00:36
know, a lot of small business startups. Me being one of those. I'm starting a food
00:41
truck in the city of El Paso, Texas called Mijos Tacos and this is
00:46
the first, one of the very first few times that I actually started talking
00:49
about it. And the cool thing about GoDaddy and Aero is that you can create,
00:56
I mean obviously it does everything from helping you build a website, helping you
01:00
create a logo, all that stuff. But part of this new program as well is you get to
01:05
create your own avatar. You get to create your own personal you digitally so that
01:11
it could take a lot of the chores or a lot of the things that you have to do
01:15
for your business. It saves you time, saves you money. So you know, that's why we got
01:19
him walking around today to represent that. You know, GoDaddy is doing
01:24
great things with the AI world and you know, they're personally helping me out
01:29
get Mijos Tacos started as well. We were looking around because I, you know,
01:33
it's easy to spot an offensive lineman and I'm like, I think there's another
01:38
offensive lineman with them? Like I'm not. So now we got the answer. Let's
01:42
talk tacos. What's the story there? Yeah, so I went to school in El Paso, Texas.
01:48
He was actually one of my buddies that was one of my teammates,
01:51
roommate, all that. Awesome. We're very close. And UTEP, El Paso, Texas does not
01:58
get very many NFL players. So when it does happen, it's a very big deal to the
02:03
city. And so what better way to, you know, give back and kind of create sort of the
02:11
community than to bring, you know, a business like Mijos Tacos out there. You
02:16
know, I get a lot of love from El Paso. They support me a lot in everything that
02:19
I do. They've supported my career, even though I went to the Giants. El Paso's,
02:23
you know, 95% Cowboy fan. So I feel like El Paso, Texas was the right place for me
02:29
to go to. I wanted to start these tacos because we're not just gonna be any
02:33
other taco truck. You know, there's a bunch of Mexican food in El Paso. But
02:37
what we wanted to do is create something that people can feel proud to going to,
02:43
starting with food. And as you could tell, I love eating. I love good food. Yes, sir.
02:48
So where this is gonna be different for us than any other taco truck is we
02:54
smoke our meats. We have special recipes. Shout out Moose's Draft House. Shout out
02:59
Moose. He's gonna be the one running our kitchen. And he is the one that
03:03
perfected these recipes. And he smoked all the meats we're gonna be
03:08
using for these tacos. It's gonna be a bit of a different taste. Very good one.
03:13
We've been eating them since we were college kids. So we're gonna get that
03:15
going. Yeah, I mean, I've always told people a bigger person is more trustworthy.
03:19
And then in the food department, it's like double extra trustworthy. So that
03:22
stamp of approval before I ever even try one. Now you went to the Giants out of
03:26
UTEP, right? So you did get the block for Saquon. I'm curious, all I know is the
03:32
high school level, right? So it's not the same. Can you feel like in situations
03:37
where your life as an offensive lineman is made easier with a running back like
03:42
that behind you? 100%. So I've always said, football is the ultimate team sport. No
03:48
matter what. No matter what sport you're comparing it to. We all touch each
03:52
other's performance. We all touch each other's money somehow, someway. Yeah. When
03:57
you have, when you as an offensive lineman don't have to hold your block in
04:01
the run game as long. Or you don't have to make the hole so big because you have
04:06
a running back like Saquon in the backfield. That makes your job so much
04:11
easier. When you have a quarterback that can, you know, run away and make things
04:16
happen, make special plays happen. That makes your job as an offensive lineman a
04:20
little bit easier as well. Do you think then, but then it goes the other way
04:24
because it's not to take away from Saquon, right? But I think there is a
04:29
prevailing notion that if he would have stayed with New York, he wasn't gonna run
04:33
for 2000 this season. It's fair to say that he benefited as much playing behind
04:37
Lane Johnson, Maillot, Juergens, and the rest of that crew up front. Yeah, just
04:42
like I said that, you know, he makes offensive linemen's job easier. It's the
04:46
other way around too. When you have a very good offensive line that's been
04:49
playing together for years, that's in sync, they also make his job easier. Yeah.
04:53
And so I think when you have that perfect combination of a great running
04:57
back and a great offensive line, that's exactly when you start getting things
05:01
like this happening. Where they make it to the Super Bowl. Where they're one of
05:05
the best running teams in the NFL. Do you think that that group ultimately
05:09
really wishes they went for the record? 2000's great. Do you think that that
05:14
group is like, we, because from again, outside view, it looked like the
05:18
offensive linemen were buying in like, this is our record as much as his. You
05:21
think they regret a little bit not grabbing that record? For the little bit
05:25
of attention that we get as offensive linemen, you think we're not gonna take
05:28
that as well? Of course. Anything that the running back do, we take full pride in
05:33
because we all know, Saquon knows it as well, that he wouldn't have been able to
05:38
do that without us and we wouldn't have been able to do that without him. Yeah. So
05:42
we all understand that. We all take credit, especially in the running game.
05:46
Yeah, it's a beautiful thing to watch. I saw the clip of Maulana. He's like,
05:51
look, what if we just keep going back out? Like, I don't think Nickel, I don't
05:54
think there'll be anything he can do. I don't, it would have been kind of cool to
05:58
see if just the biggest dudes in the world took over. Like, we're not leaving
06:01
the field. They probably would have just had to let him go and chase the record, I
06:04
guess. Isn't that cool to see, though, that, like, you have these group of guys
06:08
that can run the ball at will. I love it. And can just make things happen based on
06:12
if they want to or not. Yeah. Oh, it's very, it's very, I've said I think that
06:16
they're on pace, especially if they finish it with a win on Sunday, to
06:21
probably, as a whole, the best rush attack the league's seen. Yes. Saquon hurts the
06:25
mobility, the offensive linemen, Lane's probably gonna be first Hall of Famer,
06:30
which is, you know, not the easiest thing to do as an offensive lineman to get that
06:32
credibility. Yeah, exactly, and I agree with you. I think definitely he's heading
06:37
there, and he, I know Lane very well, and the mentality he has, his personality,
06:42
it's exactly what you want to see in the Hall of Fame. Yeah, that's awesome.
06:45
Will Hernandez, go daddy. Will Hernandez is gone. We're out here in New Orleans.
