01:26Thank you for this wonderful experience na sa pinatry mo sa amin pero pag-usapan natin.

01:32Una, san ba galing yung Segundo?

01:34Paano kayo nagkaroon ng idea about this?

01:36Well Segundo is born out of kakilala lang kakilala, na-refer kami dito.

01:42This was a land na hindi ginagamit and there was a desire to make it more productive habang

01:47wala pang plano yung mga ano.

01:49So pinakilala kami dun sa, nagtanong na, pwede ba kayong mag-run ng mga hiking camping

01:55events dito?

01:56Sabi namin, sige.

01:57And there's another group, Harvest Hills, na Washania camping event in Batanga, so inimbita

02:04din sila.

02:05So it was really out of that na friendships and connections to make this place count and

02:10to make experiences here count.

02:11Sir, kailan nagsimula o nag-open itong Segundo at ano-ano yung mga activities na pwedeng

02:16gawin dito?

02:17So nagsimula kami exactly a year ago, January 2024, when we opened to the public, when we

02:24did our first families and visitors, mga kakilala lang din namin na nag-try out.

02:28And then we shared the idea to other groups, schools, churches to go here.

02:33So one year, it's been another year, nag-open ang Segundo.

02:36At ano po yung mga activities na pwede gawin dito?

02:39Alright, number one is really hiking.

02:41So as you've experienced today, madami tayong experience, and it's very beginner friendly.

02:46So Segundo Hike and Camp is really tailor fit for beginners.

02:50We want to invite yung mga hindi nag-hiking, hindi nag-camping, yun yung talagang gusto

02:55naming i-share yung experience.

02:56So there's a lot of hiking, madami din kami yung tinatawag na OLE, or Outdoor Learning

03:02Experiences, where we try to share basic outdoor skills to, especially to children and kids

03:08and families.

03:09And of course, nandun din yung camping namin, where families or groups or even individuals

03:15can experience the great outdoors, the quiet, the joys of outdoor living, so camping.

03:21So hiking, outdoor learning experiences, and camping.

03:24Ultimately, we drive from the energy and the enthusiasm of our hikers and campers.

03:31Basta ang imitasyon namin sa kanila, pumunta kayo sa Segundo, and let's make every second count.

03:38This time, I'm with Mr. Eric Tibel, and he is the operations manager dito sa Segundo Camp and Hike.

03:47Sir, ngayon naman ang question ko, how can the people enjoy yung camping dito?

03:50Nako, if you love camping, if you love the outdoors, you will enjoy Segundo because we

03:55have a spacious campground, we have a river that you can swim, and then we have basic

04:02amenities, we have clean toilets and showers, which you cannot find in other campsites.

04:06Sir, ano naman yung mga camping, may car camping ba kayo, may glamping tent ba kayo?

04:13Ano naman meron dito?

04:14This campsite is a car camping site.

04:16Kasi during the pandemic, nag-uso ng car camping eh.

04:19So, it makes camping very convenient.

04:21Pag sinabi mo ng car camping kasi, you can park your car beside your tent.

04:26And sometimes, campers use their cars.

04:29Sometimes kasi, yung mga campers, they use their cars also to camp.

04:34May mga vans, may mga pickups that they convert into a camp.

04:40Camping at hiking, kaya siyempre, hindi ko papalagpasin ang experience na to.

04:45Nang hindi kasama ang mga topa.

04:47Si Misabel, Mike, Keith, JB, at ang aking pamilya.

04:51Si Karleen, Chuck, at ang nag-iisang lalaki sa buhay ko, si Soju.

04:56And our adventure begins.

04:58Sinimahan kami ng mga trail guides at ni Sir Mark.

05:01So, right now po, nasa ano tayo?

05:03Tugaygaya ng Himagsikan po.

05:05So, may apat po tayo na trail sa Tugaygaya ng Himagsikan.

05:09Experience nature, history, and adventure all in one.

05:12Katulad dito, huminto kami at isa sa mga ikinuwento sa aming Sir Mark

05:17ay ilan sa mga activities na pinapacilitate nila sa mga students na nai-invite nila dito.

05:23May mga natural obstacles din dito.

06:25where they facilitate different activities para sa mga bata.

06:29We are halfway sa height namin.

06:37at ang nilalakaran namin ngayon ay dating tanima ng paminta.

06:41Sabi ni Sir Mark, this is the point of no return.

06:44Kaya naman, we are ready for more challenging trails.

06:47First stop, Matarik.

06:50Remember na dapat makuha muna ang balance bago bumaba

06:53or lower your center of gravity

06:56o bumaba kang nakaupo.

06:58Make sure nakatouch kayo three ways, always.

07:01Matapos malagpasa ng Matarik na bundo, ilog naman.

07:06Ganda akong mabasa sa ganitong sitwasyon.

07:08Akala nyo tapos na? Wait, there's more!

07:17Yung susunod nilalakaran namin, alam na alam ni Bravo.

07:20Itong furbaby na to ay sikat dito sa Segundo

07:23dahil nag-hike din siya at walang takot.

07:26Ito na nga ang idol ni Soju o,

07:28mapapayoko, mapapagapang sa mga dadaanan.

07:31Ito ang interesting sa trail na ito.

07:33Ang susunod na akyatin namin, huli na daw ito

07:36pero it's an 80 to 90 degree steep, pataas.

08:50Time with the family should not be taken for granted.

08:58na makikita mo sa kanila ang tumatata.

09:01What makes Segundo unique?

09:03It's the massive nature surrounding the area,

09:06which makes the stay relaxing and something to remember.

09:11Dito parang may magic dahil nakakalimutan mo ang oras

09:14when we immerse ourselves in nature.

09:16At dito, kakaibang experience

09:18because we realize that every second counts.
