Dan Meridor: Some freed, many still captive

While some Israeli hostages have been freed, many others remain in captivity, former Israeli Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Intelligence Dan Meridor says.

00:00And the problem is, on one side, we are very happy,

00:04really very happy that they are home,

00:07but still we have 87 people that are still there.

00:11And we need them to come home.

00:13And it may take some months, and until everybody is back home,

00:17alive and some dead, we don't exactly know who and who.

00:20The majority is alive, we presume,

00:23and some are dead, and the bodies should be returned to burial.

00:27So the whole thing is quite heavy and tragic,

00:29but there are points of joy and people rejoice

00:33in the scenes that you see on television.
