The Trump administration’s cabinet has little influence as force is the real tool of the US administration, political scientist Professor Norman Finkelstein says.

00:22that President Trump is there with those people around him?

00:25I do not believe there's much question or there ought to be much focus on who's surrounding him.

00:36You can be surrounded by rednecks and bizarre figures,

00:47or you can be surrounded by very quote-unquote enlightened people like Tony Blinken.

00:56It doesn't really make much difference.

00:59The common denominator of all these people is very simple,

01:05that force works, that we have a near monopoly on force,

01:14and that if you consistently, persistently persevere in the resort to force, violent force, that you can get your way.
