00:08but they were in discussions, in negotiations with the U.S. ahead of this Israeli attack on Iran.

00:17Do you believe that Iran was close to producing a nuclear weapon, or maybe they weren't?

00:23What do you think the situation there is?

00:25Well, the situation is that in the last two years, Iran has been, you know, moving on with its nuclear program.

00:33And they've been, you know, gaining steps and steps and steps.

00:37And so we've been condemning it constantly.

00:40But Iran was very active.

00:42So I cannot tell you if they were close or not close to have a nuclear weapon.

00:47What is true is that they were moving on very quickly.

00:50And this was a great matter of concern.
