00:00Right here in France, she was the fan favorite in the Peak Performance Fun Bet.

00:05She's only 21 years old, she's already got an overall number two ranking last year,

00:10coming in just behind Hedwig Wessel.

00:12Astrid Chez Luce now starting her campaign here at home in France.

00:17This is another perfect example of an athlete that can do it all.

00:20She's got great technical skiing, but she can throw double backflips in a competition.

00:25Huge tricks, huge stomping errors.

00:28Launching off that one, disappearing into the powder cloud,

00:31getting trajectory for this next feature, pumping a backflip!

00:35Astrid Chez Luce landing it!

00:37Oh, we are witnessing an electric performance here from Astrid Chez Luce,

00:41the French rider putting on a show for her home crowd.

00:45Backflipping up that high on the face shows so much confidence in yourself and your skills.

00:50And you could tell how quickly she was able to put it right under control,

00:53get on that downhill ski and start making turns again.

00:56Yeah, she is perfectly in control now.

00:58She's got this looming section underneath.

01:01As she lines up, she wants to get the trajectory right.

01:04Popping off and a perfect landing!

01:06Astrid Chez Luce has the French crowd going absolutely ballistic.

01:11She has put down a run for the ages in front of the home crowd.

01:16That was magical from the French rider.

01:18With only two years on the tour, she's just showing a level of experience that's really unmatched.

01:25You can really tell how well these junior world championships...

01:28She is a junior world champion and you can tell that that early experience in her career just really paying off.

01:35Well, and the diverse skill set. Her turns are picture perfect.

01:39Her mountain savvy is locked in.

01:41The freestyle game, well, you just saw it.

01:43Backflip at the top of the face, unleashing all of the skills

01:48and putting together the puzzle pieces to put that run together.

02:19Going massive, but knowing that she's making that quick transfer over to the second air for this huge backflip.

02:25Laying it out, way down, landing perfectly and then straight onto that left foot

02:29because she needs to angle herself properly to get on top of this thing

02:33and taking it right off the top ropes, knowing exactly where she's going.

02:37There's a rock in that landing. If you angle it wrong, you're going to pay.
