00:00Two to our current freeride world tour leader and 2023 world champion, two-time Olympic medalist.

00:07This lady, this woman has so many things on the trophy case.

00:12She rides out of Mont Saint-Sauveur, Montreal, Quebec is her home, she doesn't live in the mountains,

00:17but the peak performance rider straight out of the gate and into the heart of her run.

00:22I really think she's up exactly for that reason, one of the most exciting female riders to watch right now.

00:29She's so good at being a competitive athlete, she knows the mindset, she knows the technique,

00:36she just sticks with what she knows in herself.

00:40Yeah and Justine this morning said she just wanted to keep it nice and simple,

00:44she wanted to ski something she would be able to easily find.

00:46So following the track of Elizabeth Gerritsen there, off a slightly different trajectory,

00:51powder landing again, this section proving popular here with the ski women, it looks so nice to ski.

00:57So Justine Dufour-Lapointe approaching this little nose here, popping off it with a backflip.

01:03Justine, it's becoming her trademark, she's got the freestyle, her skiing on point,

01:11another feature here for Justine and connecting again perfectly.

01:16This is why this woman is wearing the golden bib, why she holds a world title from one season in the freeride world tour.

01:25And look at the body language there, the joy and the stoke of executing exactly the plan.

01:31She has such great spirit, she's always smiling, she's always happy, she's excited to be here,

01:38and at the same time she takes it super seriously.

01:41She's one of those skiers that has complete knowledge of this whole phase.

01:47Yeah when you look at her line preparation, you know drawn on a photo, she's got 16 different lines

01:52going all over the place. This morning after we saw the forerunner, she locked in on that one

01:57and she said I want it to be simple, I don't want to feel like I might get lost, I want an easy one to find.

02:02And this was so aggressive right out of the start, slightly different trajectory than we saw Elizabeth and Zuzia take,

02:08which is smart because she's able to find a fresh landing.

02:11And then this approach right off the nose of that one again, different spot than Elizabeth, and this is wow.

02:18That is the mogul background there, she can put a backflip anywhere she wants these days.

02:23And she does! So incredible moments here for the peak performance rider Justine Dufour-Lapointe.
