A Florida man experienced the shock of his life when he was accidentally shot with his own gun by a police officer during a traffic stop ... and now he's telling TMZ how profoundly this agonizing experience has complicated his career.

00:07And the first thing I kept saying is that, I'm finna die out here.

00:12The two guys, the two male officers that was there, they actually was just hands on trying

00:18to help me.

00:19And she was just kind of wandering around in a circle, like, what did I just do?

00:23She never said, sorry or anything or let me help you.

00:27She didn't say one word to me at all.

00:29And when it first happened, I took that next week off, because it wasn't, I couldn't work

00:34in that condition.

00:35But since I've been back, I mean, it's been a struggle.

00:37I mean, I get around, but my performance is not nowhere near the same.

00:42As fast as I was able to move, ability to work longer hours that we was given, I mean,

00:47I can't do a lot of stuff, a lot of different things I can't do.

00:50I can't, going up and down stairs and stuff like that, it's a lot harder.
