A man was fatally shot by Warren police, after the cops say he fired at officers during a chase But WWJ's Charlie Langton reports the victim's family says he didn't have a gun.

00:00We've got a wild situation going on here on Detroit's east side of Van Dyke near Davison.
00:07Apparently early morning, a domestic violence situation in Warren, which is just a couple of miles north of where I'm at,
00:14led Warren to chase this person.
00:19Family is all here, you can see, but they chased him to this house where family tells me where his mother lives.
00:28That's his charger in the back, and then the police say he was shooting at the police.
00:34Family said he didn't have a gun, but it looks like the police shot him and he is now dead.
00:39The man in his 30s, still an ongoing investigation.
