00:06and our picks for this week and that's why I'm here with Nick C and Chiba Mayor, experts

00:14on the matter, and we see LAFC changing up the team in a real way.

00:22Now I think that is taking a page out of the Columbus book and bringing a lot of very,

00:29very experienced MLS players into the fold, creating a very mature team in my opinion.

00:36Mark Delgado coming from Galaxy, that was really striking to me.

00:41We send them the Champions League with McCarthy, maybe they're sending him back with Mark Delgado,

00:47I don't know.

00:48Impressive Southern California career, now playing for Chivas USA, Galaxy, and LAFC in

00:56his career.

00:57Interesting fact.

00:58How do you feel about losing such an important player, Nick, because Mark was fundamental

01:03for the Galaxy's championship?

01:05Oh, for sure.

01:06I think Galaxy is kind of struggling right now with that age-old question that a lot

01:11of MLS teams have.

01:12It's like, is this success that you have going to hamper you because, you know, as you're

01:16more and more successful, it becomes harder to keep the squad that you have because of

01:20all the rules that go on that are very complicated and no one really understands the cap rules.

01:24It's all behind the scenes and complicated, but, you know, I think they're trying to do

01:27what they can.

01:28They're moving the chess pieces around the board.

01:30They re-signed Eric Zabaleta, which I think was huge for them, so I'm happy with that.

01:34We still got our other big players.

01:36We're sitting on the sidelines watching what's going to happen with Puig, you know, he's

01:39in Barca right now, he's in Barcelona, he's at home, he's trying to recover.

01:42So we've got to see how these things are going to unfold, but I still think the future for

01:46Galaxy is bright.

01:47They had to do what I think they had to do, and they're trying to move the chess pieces

01:50around and it's hard, you know, to keep the winning squad together, as ironic as that

01:55seems.

01:56And I think that was kind of part of that chess match.

01:57Chiba, a lot of new faces are coming into LAFC.

02:00I know you are very close with the front office.

02:03I know that you are in the fall.

02:05Tell me, what's your take, what's happening at LAFC?

02:08I mean, look, first of all, let me say that I'm very happy that we got Marque Delgado,

02:13proven player.

02:14You know, I know him since he was a youngster when he was in the USA.

02:18He also won a trophy with Toronto when he was in Toronto, he was a key player for Toronto.

02:23And then he went to Galaxy.

02:26But you know, the players that are coming in, I think at the end of the day, John Torrington

02:31has always built teams to win championships.

02:35So there's, I have no doubt that we're going to have an amazing squad by the beginning

02:38of the season.

02:39You know, I think Martinez, Chamo Martinez has to step it up.

02:42Right now, we're hearing on the news that Mateos Bogus has signed with Cusasul as of

02:48today.

02:49Let's wait for the official announcement.

02:51And then we have another issue with Kike Oliveira, which is a really good player from Uruguay

02:54that doesn't want to come back.

02:56There's all this drama going on with him.

02:58And then we're hoping that Giroud finally can score goals for us.

03:02You know, it's going to be exciting.

03:04That game versus America, I think it's going to be, it's going to be a good matchup to

03:08see how LLC is going to face not just the MLS season, but also the Concordia Champions

03:14versus Colorado.

03:15Very, very excited for them.

03:17I'm looking forward to the beginning of the season.

03:20And let's hope that we win another MLS Cup.
