TikTok Ban in the United States

Given concerns about the apps links to Chinese government, would you support a similar ban being implemented in the UK?

00:00There's just as much harmful information on YouTube as there is TikTok.

00:04Yeah, I don't know if you're going to out-rule one, out-rule them all.

00:09Because, I mean, what the kids are doing, it's daft.

00:12I mean, you know, there's all these things and half of them are blooming dying, you know.

00:17I think if something could be sorted to stop that, which I don't think it can be,

00:25then it'd be all right, but I just think it's lethal for young'uns.

00:29I mean, definitely the fact that they shouldn't, like...

00:33I understand the whole ban, because some people believe that, like,

00:35the government is spying on you with the apps and stuff,

00:37which some of it might be true, might not be true, but it goes both ways.

00:41The app is useful and it also, like, has your negatives as well.

00:44So, I mean, I would like to keep it in the UK,

00:46because it obviously is, like, a nice thing to, like, pass time.

00:49Like, I mean, I definitely sit in bed at night time and just scroll through TikTok and,

00:53you know, waste a couple of hours of your day, isn't it?

00:55But at the same time, some of it is quite useful and helpful at the same time.
