Bristol has taken the crown as the greenest place to live in the UK in a new study. The city has topped the 20 most eco-friendly destinations in the list by global travel site Big 7 Travel and car comparison specialists HolidayCar.

00:21city in the UK, topping other cities such as Manchester and Birmingham. The study looked

00:28at lots of areas including sustainability practices, public transport options, local

00:35food production, green spaces, community engagement and renewable energy use to name a few, but

00:43Bristol seemed to come out top in all of these categories.

00:48The study comes out 10 years after Bristol was given the accolade of being the European

00:53Green Capital in 2015, and is a promising piece of news for the city.
