00:08In an interview with Radio Pilipinas, Consul General Adelio Angelito Cruz stated two large fires are still occurring in west and east part of Los Angeles
00:17where the flames continue to spread due to the strong winds that are experienced annually in the area.
00:23According to the latest report from the consulate, there are more than 150,000 individuals who evacuated
00:29most of whom are Filipinos. Consul General Cruz mentioned 191 Filipinos have sought assistance from the consulate
00:36and all of them are in good condition. The consulate further emphasized their readiness to assist Filipinos
00:42regardless of their legal status in the U.S.
00:45Meanwhile, coordination continues with the government including the Department of Migrant Workers or DMW,
00:51the Department of Foreign Affairs or DFA and other relevant government agencies.
00:57All of the 191 Filipinos are in evacuation centers. They are in good condition and they are being taken care of
