00:00In golf, after a long wait, the oldest National Golf Championship in Asia, the Philippine Open, will be held again.

00:08It will be held from January 23 to 26 in the Manila Southwood Masters Course in Carmona, Cavite.

00:15The National Golf Association of the Philippines, or NGAAP, is aiming to keep the championship in the Philippines.

00:22That's why it is strongly expected that the Filipino golfers will show their skills in the game.

00:28One of the most anticipated Filipino golfers is the Japan Tour regular golfer, Justin De Los Santos,

00:33who will be the first country to win a title in his first trip to the Philippines after 4 years.

00:40NGAAP also confirmed that the most popular Filipino golfers were invited,

00:45Riko Hoey of the USPGA Tour, Juvik Pagonsan of the Japan Tour, and the two-time LPGA winner, Yuka Saso.

00:54However, due to other commitments, the three will not be able to attend.

00:58Meanwhile, the women's amateur standout, Rian Maliksi, and the former Philippine Open champion, Miguel Tamuena, will be competing.
