02:23The running attack, the rushing attack, truly helped us open some things in the passing game in that second half.

02:33And you know, you find a way to win it in a game-winning field goal.

02:36So it was going to be a battle.

02:39And we didn't have great production the first half, and it was a seven-point game.

02:44And I told them, we get the ball the first series of the second half.

02:48And we just got to go out and execute on this play.

02:51But I wanted them to understand we did not play to our standard in the first half,

02:55and credit to Penn State for what they did on both sides of the ball.

03:00It didn't feel like that going into the locker room, but it was a seven-point game.

03:04And our guys went out there and performed that second half.

03:07That was the key.

03:08The thing, you and I talked about it already, is that it was only a one-score game.

03:12I thought the field goal, I thought what Angeli did was incredible.

03:15And they were getting physically dominated in the first 30 minutes of that football game,

03:20without a doubt.

03:22And, I mean, I was like, they are in trouble.

03:24At one point I wrote you toast.

03:26They're in trouble.

03:27They are getting pushed around.

03:30But what they did to adjust, and remember, we haven't even talked about the fact

03:34they lost two of their starting offensive linemen in the first half.

03:38And those guys were finished.

03:41And I thought that was something that you had to overcome big time.

03:45That they put in, they plugged two holes with backups that did their jobs.

03:50I heard them say the one tackle, oh, he's only done 68 snaps the whole season.

03:56But he was a senior.

03:57He has been in football games.

03:59So he went out and did a hell of a job.

04:01I thought they did all the adjustments they needed to make it a game in the second half.

04:05I thought the key to the game for me was the first drive of the second half

04:08that they went down and scored, and made it 10-all,

04:11and turned it into a 0-0 game again.
