00:00Notre Dame versus Navy 51 to 14. There was a number of reasons why people found

00:04this game to be interesting, but I think it was to see how well Notre Dame can

00:07put together the pieces from top to bottom, offense, defense, and special

00:11teams, and I feel like we saw that today. You got Riley Leonard who doesn't have

00:14to do too much, but just enough, but still is such an impactful guy as a dual

00:18threat quarterback right now. Through the air, 178 passing yards, two

00:22touchdowns, no turnovers. On the ground, 83 rushing yards through 10 carries and

00:27one rushing touchdown. You can always count on this guy to get into the end

00:30zone for his team. What do we make of Notre Dame continuing to add a W to

00:34their column? Yeah, fantastic performance here from the Fighting Irish coming

00:38into this one. Had to cover two touchdowns, 14 and a half points. They

00:42went off as favorites, 51 to 14. Clinical going against Navy, and I guess the

00:47question marks to me was, you know, what really is this Navy side? You know, you

00:51are what your records suggest, and coming into this week undefeated, there was a

00:54lot of promise, and I guess a lot of buzz in the lead-up here, but it was a

00:58matter of the turnovers. Six turnovers, that was not good enough to stay in this

01:01football game. They were beaten from the jump, and they just couldn't get back

01:05into it. So for Notre Dame, they could lean on that run game once they got off

01:08to that high score and first start. Love, he led the way there with that

01:13rushing attack. 102 rushing yards off the 12 carries and two scores there. So

01:18it was a clinical performance for Notre Dame, 51 to 14. Absolutely serving up a

01:23smackdown, if you will, over Navy. Not to say that this season is going to be

01:27done and dusted, but this is the wake-up call. Right now, I feel like, you know,

01:30it's unprecedented. The parody we're seeing in college football, the contenders

01:34taking on the pretenders. I thought Navy would just, they were found out to be a

01:38little missing here this afternoon. That's a good way to put it. The

01:42contenders taking on the pretenders. I love that, and we'll borrow that now.
