00:08If the Irish are playing a MAAC team, it's a little bit uneasy.

00:12If the Irish are playing anybody else, it's been pure dominance.

00:16Ten consecutive victories since that loss to Northern Illinois.

00:20In fact, in the ten games against non-MAAC foes this year, Notre Dame has been unreal.

00:269-0-1 against the spread with an average margin of victory that flirts with 30 points per game.

00:33And this game was tight until Jaden Maiava, the new quarterback for USC,

00:38threw two pick sixes in about a five-minute span.

00:42And not just two pick sixes, DRS.

00:44A 99-yard pick six for Christian Gray.

00:48And then a couple of minutes later to end out the fourth quarter,

00:51a 100-yard interception return for the outstanding defensive back for Notre Dame in Xavier Watts.

00:58Yeah, how about USC?

00:59Hey, celebrating bowl season, though.

01:01Six and six.

01:01Congratulations as they lose one five-star after another five-star off of their recruiting commitments here.

01:06Not a great season for USC, but they had a chance to sort of get back into that national picture

01:11and leave a bad taste in the mouth of the fighting Irish

01:13because their two losses are not built like many other teams' two losses

01:17because of that NIU loss that they had earlier in the season,

01:19which was an embarrassing one overall.

01:21But Notre Dame playing as well as anybody in the country right now.

01:24Where USC goes from this, I don't know in the future.

01:27But Lincoln Rowley's got a big contract.

01:28He's not going anywhere.

01:29But what a disappointment.

01:31Coming over to the Big Ten, thought they might be one of the challengers

01:33and wind up at six and six on the season.

01:35But the focus more on Notre Dame.

01:37Playing as good as you can possibly play at the end of the season.

01:41Priced appropriately here, entering in to those final stages.

01:44They don't have to play in a conference championship game.

01:46They will await to see what their fate's going to be

01:49and who they line up against.
